“MANGA MODE” is a dynamic mobile book service dedicated to Japanese Manga. This service, provided in cooperation with Japanese and other key French publishing partners, features popular titles such as “NARUTO”, “DRAGON BALL”, and “DEATH NOTE” for the first time in France.
“MANGA MODE” is offered to Bouygues Telecom S.A. customers as either a free or premium subscription through the i-mode portal site. Customers can enjoy a dynamic, colorful, French language Manga using a downloadable dedicated viewer application. On the “MANGA MODE” site, customers can also enjoy high quality wallpapers of Manga characters. Japanese Manga is highly popular in France; especially “NARUTO”, published by SHUEISHA Inc. in Japan, which is by far the most popular Manga of all titles among the French.
